Nebraska Institute

The Nebraska Institute, a teacher-training institute jointly sponsored by the Nebraska State Historical Society,and Nebraska Wesleyan University, with the assistance of the Lincoln Public Schools, is an intensive summer workshop through which teachers learn how to teach using historic documents, photographs, artifacts, and places. Using these tools allows teachers to infuse local and Nebraska stories into their classrooms, regardless of the subject matter being taught.
